Jeff Hoerner Biography

jeff hoernerMy name is Jeff Hoerner and I am the founder and creator of Game Changer Sports Recruiting Service. I have spent my entire life around athletic fields, playing Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, and Soccer growing up.
I am married and have a 3 year old daughter Meeka May. My wife Shelly played softball in college and has coached at the collegiate level the past 18 years with stops at Valdosta State University, Barry University (FL), NC State, The College of Charleston, Ga Tech, and now the head coach at Appalachain State University.

I was very fortunate to play soccer at a high level throughout my high school, college, and after college playing days. After college I got into coaching soccer and again was very fortunate to coach in various clubs, high schools, and colleges throughout the Northeast and South.

I was the head boy's varsity soccer coach at North Tonawanda HS in NY. I then served as a women's assistant soccer coach at SUNY Buffalo, all the while coaching in clubs and the Olympic Development Program. I then had two stints as a women's assistant soccer coach at Florida Atlantic University in Florida. In between those two stints I was the head women's soccer coach at St. Thomas University. Again coaching youth soccer teams in Florida in my spare time. I then became the boy's varsity soccer coach at The Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, SC and also worked with local youth clubs.

So I have spent the last 34 years coaching and helping student-athletes get to the next level. I have a first hand knowledge of what college coaches are looking for in student-athletes. I have a tremendous understanding of what different colleges and levels have to offer, how they recruit, and the importance of the right fit on and off the field.

I am now a stay-at-home-dad and have a lot of time on my hands. I have been helping my student-athletes with the recruiting process for the past 10 years so I figured why not start a little business on the side and try and help as many families as I can!!!
